Hypertext links and cookies

The Marinove company site contains a certain number of hypertext links to other sites, used with the authorisation of the Marinove company.

However, the Marinove company does not have the possibility of verifying the content of the sites visited, and will therefore assume no responsibility for this fact.

When consulting the site (hereinafter “the Site”), certain information regarding your browsing may be recorded in “cookie” files installed on your terminal (computer, tablet, mobile phone or any other device optimised for the internet).

These cookies are issued by the Marinove company in order to facilitate your browsing on this site and for measuring traffic.

This article allows you to understand what a cookie is, what its role is, and how to configure its operation.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a text file which, thanks to your browser software, is placed in a dedicated space on the hard drive of your terminal when visiting a site or viewing an advertisement. It contains several data items such as the name of the server that placed it (server of the site you are visiting), an identifier in the form of a unique number, and possibly an expiration date for the cookie.

Cookies allow their issuer to recognise the terminal of the user with which it they are registered and to collect information related with their browsing on the sites.

Cookies issued on this Site

“Essential cookies” for the operation of the Site: they allow information entered in forms to be memorised, management and securing of access to reserved areas (registration or access to your account, requested service, content of a shopping cart, etc.).

“Functional cookies”: these allow adaptation of the presentation of the Site to the display preferences of your terminal (language used, display resolution, etc.), thereby personalising your access to the Site.

“Analytics cookies” (or “traffic measurement cookies”): these anonymously collect traffic data in order to establish statistics and traffic volumes (number of visits, pages viewed, etc.) and to ascertain the use of elements making up the Site (sections and pages consulted, etc.), allowing the Marinove company to monitor and improve the quality of its services.

“Social cookies”: these allow you to interact with social modules on the Site (Facebook, Twitter, etc.).

“Targeting or retargeting cookies” allow browsing to be adapted to your choices and preferences, offering, where applicable, products and services likely to interest you. Certain third party cookies may be installed on the Site via our trusted commercial partners, in order to provide you offers linked to other websites.

Managing your Cookies

You can control and manage the installation of these cookies on your terminal by configuring your browser software.

It is therefore possible to configure your browser to accept or reject all cookies either systematically or based on their issuer. You can also choose to be automatically informed when a cookie is saved on your terminal.

Finally, and to benefit from greater control over the management of cookies, you can configure your browser software so that the acceptance or rejection of cookies is offered to you from time to time, before a cookie is likely to be placed on your hard drive by the server of the site you are visiting.

It is therefore recommended to configure your browser settings to your liking.

In order to manage cookies as closely as possible, we invite you to configure your browser taking into account the purpose of cookies. Below you will find more detailed information on how to carry out this configuration with the most commonly used browsers:

You can also consult the “Help” menu of your browser to find out how to modify your cookie settings.

Any configuration implemented on your terminal in this regard may lead to an alteration or degradation of your internet browsing, as well as, in particular, your conditions of access to certain services of the Site requiring the use of Cookies. In case of difficulties, you can go back at any time and change your cookie preferences.
